Following a stint with
the US Navy and NATO in Italy during the
early 1970’s, Dan Norris moved to his
parents’ hometown of Boone in 1975. While
at Appalachian State University he met his
future bride, Vickie Coffey. After
college, Dan became involved with life
insurance sales through Independent Life. However, he soon decided that a one-company
approach was too limiting in nature; one
size does not fit all.
Twenty-five plus years later, our agency now
has an affiliation with more than two dozen
highly-rated life and health carriers. As
our experience and expertise has grown, so,
too has our appreciation of the quality of
life found in North Carolina’s
